McKinney High School Marching Band
Timing is everything. I happened to be driving down the street on a Saturday morning and out popped the McKinney High School Marching band. There were on a fund raising, 5 mile march from McKinney High School to a shopping center parking lot where they would do a more stationary band concert. Along the way they were soliciting donation and pledges for the band to finance their equipment and travel for the next year.

What a neat idea for a fund raiser! My daughter's high school band sells "VIP Cards" with discounts to area businesses and it's a huge fundraiser for them as local businesses usually love to show support and many gladly sponsor the card by giving discounts to cardholders.
I missed my high school days. We didn't have such bands, but we had lots of other fun.
Such a neat idea for who doesn't like a bit of music! Good catch Dan even if you didn't plan it :)
