Ouch!, This is Number 100!

I went to a photography seminar on Saturday and the instructor showed this. His wife found it on the side of the road recently. Our speculation was that someone forgot this was sitting on the roof of their car and they drove off. Don't let this happen to you!

I am glad to have hit the century mark on my Daily Photo Blog. I know some of you have way more posts than this, but hey it's a milestone. As I tell my boss at work, I am slow but I eventually get there ;)

It makes my eyes water just looking at it!

I had my camera stolen last year, and that was bad, but this.... I couldn't cope!

Congrats on 100. Are you sure this wasnt a camera kidnapping gone bad? Next time I bet the pay the ransom.

Road kill?

I'm glad it's not yours though. Owner of this set will not believe what was happened when he/she found it out...

I see the lens is 18-200 VR which is not cheap.

Congrats on 100th post!

I have seen this sight before or cameras in a condition similar to this. Makes me sick.

I am glad it wasn't your camera and congratulations on your 100th post.

Eeeps... that's gotta hurt. I fear my camera doing that!

Congrats on the 100!

Wow, looks like I hit a nerve with this pic. I have gotten lots of on and off blog comments. When the instructor showed this there was an audible gasp then moan from the six of us students. Needless to say I am being very careful with my camera lately.

Well, always the contrarian, I see this as an opportunity that allows my insurance company to subsidize my equipment upgrade. While it is sad, and certainly a loss at the moment, a camera is after all, only a tool.

Temporary setback IMHO. Don't misunderstand me, though as I'm not advocating carelessness. Simply a different perspective -:)

About This Blog

This blog is about pictures of Mckinney, Texas. Of course, that does not mean that you won't see pictures of other places once in a while. Mckinney, is one of the fastest growing communities in the United States. It also boasts the second largest historical district in Texas. So, while the community grows into the future it is also trying to stay connected to its roots. This creates and interesting and creative dynamic. I try to capture some of that dynamic in my pictures of Mckinney
